Once the Durbar hall for the Haveli, it was extensively renovated in the exact original style about 40 years back. The frescoes were retouched using colours extracted from plants or semi-precious stones. The blue you see comes from the indigo plant. The base green from malachite.

Also, do notice the stained-glass work in the arches and the polished limestone pillars.
